You can’t do it all — at least not at the same time. Setting priorities and focusing on them, ignoring everything else at the same time, is the key.

Measure Progress But Don’t Be Obsessive

It can be useful to measure your progress and see where you can improve the metrics, especially in the beginning, but don’t focus on it too much and sacrifice the quality of your work.

Set Challenges

Gamification is a powerful tool. Give yourself challenges that will push you to do more work and give you a reason to break your own records.
