4 Ways to Have a Better Day!

We have all formed our own routines and habits that sometimes have a very negative effect on our daily moods. Even when we know we shouldn’t, we still continue to do them as they have become a part of our daily life. If you want to improve your mental wellbeing, here are four actions to STOP doing to make your day happier and more positive.

Checking Your Phone  

We are all guilty of opening our eyes after a good night’s sleep and the first thing we do is check our phone. You just woke up, your brain isn’t ready for all the videos, hashtags and mindless gossip. Meditate instead and leave the phone until after breakfast.

Watching Hours of TV

If you are thinking more about the most recent episode of your favorite reality tv show than your own life then something needs to change. Start limiting your TV watching to two or three shows and do something active instead.

Dwelling on the Past

It’s totally natural for past events to show up in your mind, but getting stuck in the story you tell yourself can really affect your future. Let is go, move forward, and create the life you want so the past has no control.

Procrastinating

Every time you procrastinate you avoid taking action and are giving in to some type of fear of going forward. Start writing down your goals and take small actions each day to reach those goals. Don’t put it off for another day.
