5 Questions to Ask Yourself If You Want to Declutter Your Home Efficiently

Over the years, we accumulate much more stuff than we really need. In the ideal scenario, you should set aside a few days twice a year and go through everything in your home, discarding things that no longer serve you. Since most people don’t do that, it can feel like a huge task to do it all at once after years have passed.

If you’re mentally preparing to declutter your home, asking yourself these five questions every time you’re unsure about an item will help you decide if you should keep it or get rid of it.

  1. Have I used this in the past 12 months?
  2. Will I use it in the next 12 months?
  3. Would I buy this in a store right now
  4. For broken items – is this worth fixing?
  5. If I moved, would I pack this?

We hope it’s a little easier now!
