Stress-Free Foods That Will Help You Beat Anxiety

a healthy diet isn’t a magical cure for every problem you might have, but it can help with some of them. Try one of these tasty foods if you happen to be one of the millions of people affected by anxiety.

Avocado

Vitamin B is very essential for maintaining healthy nerves and brain cells, and avocado just happens to be an excellent source of stress-relieving vitamins.

Salmon

Salmon is very rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are known for promoting brain health and having a calming effect on the human body.

Asparagus

Deficiency of folic acid has been linked with anxiety and depression, and eating asparagus can come in handy because it contains a valuable amount of this mood-boosting nutrient.

I’m hungry right now wishing I had this ZAATAR salmon and DAIRY FREE CARBONARA. Remember that dairy free Carbonara sauce I made? Well I made it again last week and altered it a little to have a sub for the nutritional yeast. It was amazing! Slightly different in flavor but still creamy and delicious. Also, took a little styling inspo from my babe @sara.haven. 😘 Posting deets below. So, I have a new project I’m working on…I’m doing a COMPLETE makeover of my website and taking it in a new direction. Wanting to know what exactly you would like to see! I’ll be taking some polls in my stories but also comment below if there is anything specific. • • • Deets: seared @salmonandsable wild salmon seasoned with zataar seasoning and lemon (you can find my method for salmon in my highlights), sautéed garlic asparagus (heat 1 clove of garlic in 1 teaspoon of ghee over medium high heat and quickly sauté the asparagus with some salt and pepper (soaks up the garlic flavor), mushrooms sautéed in just coconut aminos no oil (trust me so good!), gluten free pasta with tomatoes and this sauce. SAUCE: 1/4 cup cashew butter, 1/3 cup water, 2-3 tablespoons olive oil, 1.5 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 cloves garlic, 3 tablespoons roasted white sweet potatoes, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon salt and a few dashes of paprika. Add more water if needed or add more sweet potato if you want it thicker. • • • #salmon #healthypasta #foodie #carbonara #kaylaitsines #glutenfreedairyfree #cuisinesworld #healthyeats #wholesome #goodmoodfood #glutenfree #wholefoods #feedfeed #eatingwelleats #dairyfree #foodphotography #functionalfood #chefsofinstagram #simplemeals #tastingtable #cleaneating #mealprep #feedfeedglutenfree #carbs #feedyoursoull #functionalfood #macandcheese #foodblogger
