There are few celebrities who can make headlines with their hair alone. Amy Winehouse, Sia and Marilyn Monroe are among the list of celebrities you could easily identify from a picture of their hair alone.
Ariana Grande is also on this list with her high top, slicked back, dead straight ponytail. It is so intertwined with our image of the star that it’s actually hard to forget sometimes that it’s not her real hair.
This week on Twitter, Grande shared a picture of herself at five and wrote:
“This is still exactly what I look like without lashes and my pony,” adding, “The only difference is that hand now says bbq grill finger.” This is of course a reference to her recent tattoo.
Fans then begged her to reveal what her natural hair actually looks like now and to everyone’s surprise, she actually did it.
Obviously, fans were 100% supportive and were extremely complimentary of her natural hair. Some fans even insisted that she ditches the extensions and keeps her cute natural cut.
So there you have it, Ariana Grande looks just as perfect with natural hair as she does with her pony tail.
