Avoid These Mistakes When Applying Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is one of the best beauty products out there, that have saved us from so many uncomfortable situations. Still, if you’re new to using dry shampoo, you might still have some things to learn. Here are some things you should avoid when using this product.

Too Much Spray

It’s always best to add dry shampoo in smaller amounts than to use too much and end up with sticky hair. Add the shampoo in layers and work through your hair with fingers, until you’re happy with the result.

Spraying Too Close

The rule is to spray from at least six inches away from your head. Otherwise you’ll have that white color on your roots and nobody certainly wants that.

Not Styling Hair Afterwards

Simply adding dry shampoo to your hair won’t do much if you don’t take some time to style the hair afterwards. Depending on the style you want to achieve, you can use a hair straightener or curling iron to freshen up the hair.

Brushing through curly hair

Brushing through dry shampoo is a bad idea, especially if you have those beautiful curls. If you use a brush your curls will lose their shape – use fingers instead to distribute shampoo evenly.
