Having perfectly shaped legs is not as hard as it seems as long as you’re ready to exercise three days per week. If you’re ready to commit to this, here are some of the best exercises to try.

Side Lunges

This is one of the basic exercises that’ll help you get your perfect thighs. It’s great for beginners and the only thing you should worry about is to maintain good posture for the best effect. 

Split Squats

This exercise may be hard for a beginner, but very soon you’ll find that it’s extremely effective. It’s targeting your hamstrings and glutes and you can also make it more difficult by adding weights.

🏋️‍♂️ Front Foot Elevated Split Squat 🏋️‍♀️ ⠀⠀ This is a great example of an exercise that can produce results in strength, size, flexibility and structural balance all at once. All of my clients are exposed to this exercise very early on in their training with me as it’s a great way to progress further in to a squat for those new to resistance training and also for those a bit more advanced who want to improve mobility and range of motion. ⠀⠀ Why to elevate the front foot? Most of my clients are females working long days in the office and then running around in heels all weekend making them prone to tightness in the hip flexors, quads, hamstrings and calves. Elevating the front leg onto a step removes those limitation allowing for greater range of motion. ⠀⠀ ✔️ make sure you keep the weight evenly distributed between your big toe, little toe and heel at all times ✔️ go down slowly keeping your body in upright position ✔️ focus on depth – bring your hip to your front heel to ensure a great stretch in your hip flexor while keeping your foot flat on the step ✔️ keep your back foot on your tippy toes and squeeze your glutes as you’re coming up ⠀⠀ Add dumbbells for more intensity 💪 ⠀⠀ 1 on 1 coaching available!
