Bikes have been our go-to city travel companion, but they get stolen easily, wear out from the weather, and time consuming to park and lock. Consumption of electric scooters has ramped up drastically over the past year, and there’s no shock there! Electric scooters are fast, small, generally lightweight, and can fold up and be carried anywhere. If you ride to the office, you can keep it next to your desk without worry of it going missing. Here are the best e-scooters for your commute.

Razor EcoSmart Metro – $355

Get the best bang for your buck with this bright, cute e-scooter. It can go up to 18 miles per hour, a maximum of 10 miles per 12-hour full charge. It’s on the heavy side at 67 pounds, but the price makes up for it. It’s sleek, professional, and makes for a smooth morning ride.

Glion Dolly – $750

This scooter clocks in at almost double the Razor EcoSmart, but it’s 62% lighter at 26 pounds. It goes up to 15 miles per hour, 15 miles per 3.5-hour charge. Its price is a little steep, but it’s great for a reliable commute.

Inokim Quick 3 Hero – $950

The Quick 3 features a wide deck, easy for various foot positions and stances while riding, and while it is 33 pounds, it’s folding ability makes it easier to carry. It can reach speeds of 15.5 miles per hour, and a 5 hour charge lasts up to 18.6 miles.

While the price and features are fantastic, it’s received less than stellar reviews. You might want to read up on this one before purchasing, but for $270 it’s a steal.
