Macarons are the world’s new favorite desert. These petite almond based cookies are delicious and satisfy every sweet tooth. However, there are some adventurous bakeries out there producing macarons in the most unique flavors. Here are some of our favorite shops!
Dana’s Bakery
Dana’s has a list of regular, typical flavors, but switches up her specials every month. In the past, she’s had Sour Gummy, Cinnamon French Toast, and Champagne. Dana’s is based out of Hackensack, New Jersey, but they ship across the US.
Macaron Parlour
Try Macaron Parlour’s Cheeto Macaron (Cheetos infused white chocolate ganache with a cheese powder). If you’re not a fan of cheesy sweets, you can order the Rosemary and Olive Oil Macaron, or stick to the sweet side and go for an Apple Cider Caramel or Earl Grey treat.
Lafayette
Partly French Restaurant, partly French Bakery, Lafayette knows how to make the tastiest macarons. Do yourself a favor and get an assortment including one Bergamot & Chocolate “Lafayette”, one Raspberry Rose, and one Matcha.
Ma-Ka-Rohn
Ma-Ka-Rohn’s online shop has something for everyone. Harry Potter fan? Taste the Butterbeer Macaron! Nostalgic much? Go for the Lucky Charms or Poke-Rohn (decorated like your favorite Pokemon characters). These macarons are affordable and ship anywhere in the US.
