Decorate Your Home With a Citrus Tree

Interior designers are predicting that citrus trees will become the next big trend in home decor. Fruit motifs are generally very popular right now, so it’s not surprising that the experts are recommending we should welcome this decorative tree into our homes.

A citrus tree will make a great addition to any room in your home with its fresh and vibrant colors. They will thrive on a front porch or a balcony but can be kept indoors as well.

Make sure to choose the right citrus tree for your home and the climate you live in. For example, limes and grapefruits won’t thrive in colder climates, while kumquats can withstand cold temperatures and even frost.

When life gives you lemons, rejoice!! 💃 . I'm having a proud plant mom moment! My lemon tree has 4 new baby lemons and sprouted quite a few new leaves! . Now I'm NOT going to sit here and talk about how to keep your indoor lemon tree happy and healthy… because… I have no idea what I'm doing right. 🤔 I must be doing something right… I bought him…notice I call it a him..🤔 anyway, I bought him in March 2018, even after being warned off doing so. I'm glad I didn't listen! . . I've picked two lemons from the tree, the second one was today! Guess what that is going to be usd for? 🍋 . During breakfast I thought I'd have a quick look at (how to look after an indoor lemon tree) and quickly closed the page down. It was intense, hard work and just complicated. The only thing I can think of that may have helped my tree survive is… I kept him draft free in the winter and didn't put him near a heat source, like a radiator. He is placed in a window and I watered him once a week-ish, not just a touch of water, fully watered and then allowed to dry out before watering again. I sprayed the tree once a week in the winter and every other day, now that its warmer. . The only thing I'm going to change is, I'm going to put the tree on a bed of pebbles to help with humidity and feed him weekly while he's growing! Fingers 🤞I haven't jinxed my success by telling the whole world! 😬 . Does anyone else have a Lemon Tree and have any advice?? . . . #fridayplantfeature #plantsmakepeoplehappy #urbanjungle #lemontree #citrustree #grenerliving #houseplants #indoorlemontree #houseplantmom #proudhouseplantmom #plantmom #instaplants #plantsmakemehappy #plantlover #plantselfie #greenery #foliage #plantsofinstagram #houseplantclub #welcometomyjungle #plantherapy #indoorgarden

Choose your tree wisely and learn how to take care of it before you buy one. Most citrus trees require a lot of direct sunlight and that’s why it best to keep them outside or near a window. If you’re limited with space, you can choose a dwarf citrus tree that is between four to ten feet tall.

If you like plants and want to give your living space a fruity vibe, this decorative tree is the right choice.
