DIY Delicious Oat Milk

If you’re not consuming dairy for any reason, you know how difficult it can be to get milk that has that familiar rich taste using non-dairy products. Today we bring you a simple recipe for oat milk that will make you forget about all the other milks you ever tried.

Including the soak time, you will need around 40 minutes to make it, but you can soak your oats overnight and get it ready in the morning before breakfast.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of organic oats
  • 3 cups of purified water
  • more purified water for soaking
  • some sea salt
  • vanilla extract

Instructions:

Soak your oats in purified water for 30 minutes or overnight, up to 12 hours. Drain and rinse them, discarding the water you used. Pour your oats in a blender and add 3 cups of water, a little bit of salt, and vanilla extract. Optionally, go for cinnamon or something else instead of vanilla.

Strain the milk and keep in a glass jar in a refrigerator up to 5 days.
