It’s pretty difficult to stay true to your fitness routine when you catch yourself feeling under the weather. If you don’t want a cold to stop you from exercising, here’s a couple of easy workouts that you can do under these circumstances.
Training at Home
We don’t blame you if you don’t want to be anywhere near the gym when you’re under the weather. That shouldn’t stop you from working out at home since there’s a bunch of light exercises that you can do with no equipment.
Light Run
If jogging is your favorite type of exercise, you shouldn’t give it up if your symptoms are above the neck. Just take it easy, avoid pushing yourself to the limits during your runs and give the treadmill a chance if it’s too cold outside.
Indoor Bike
Working out on a stationary bike is one of your best options when you’re dealing with a cold. If you feel your nose is running, you can easily keep going hands-free, and it’s always possible to go at your own pace and take breaks when you feel tired.
