Emilia Clarke is Clinique’s First Global Ambassador

Now that her reign as queen Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones has officially ended, Emilia Clarke is getting ready to conquer new territories. First, she landed a lead role in a romantic comedy Last Christmas and then, on January 16, Clinique announced that the actress became the first Global Brand Ambassador of Skin Care and Makeup for the brand.

“We were drawn to Emilia because she is optimistic, happy in her skin, and embodies a modern multi-faceted woman who is constantly evolving along with her skincare needs,” Clinique’s global brand president Jane Lauder said in a statement.

“She is also an authentic user and fan of Clinique, which was important to us. Emilia will lend her impactful voice to help inspire consumers to embrace their own unique skincare journey.”

The actress says she’s a big fan of the brand and she stated that her favorite Clinique product is the Moisturizing BB-Gel. She loves it because it gives her a natural look and sunkissed glow even in London’s rainy weather.

Clarke will promote Clinique iD, the brand’s personalized skincare range that allows customers to create their own customized moisturizer. In her announcement video on Instagram, it’s obvious that the actress is happy and excited about this collaboration and we are too!
