Euphoria changed the way we look at makeup, and it was just a matter of time before its stars started scoring major beauty deals. Alexa Demie is the latest to do so, and her new campaign with MAC Cosmetics is the most dazzling thing you’ll see all day.
Demie broke into the spotlight thanks to the role of Maddy Perez on Euphoria and she took an active part in creating some of her most iconic beauty looks. She’s now in charge of fronting MAC’s “More Than Meets the Eye” collection, featuring new and revamped formulas for eyes, including eye shadows and brow gels.
This collaboration hits close to home for Demie since she’s been around makeup from her early days, thanks to her mom who just happens to be a former MAC makeup artist.
“My mom used to work at MAC – I think that was her first job – and she would bring me there as a little girl all the time. I remember she had to do a 10-minute crazy editorial makeup look in front of the entire store to get the job and she used me as her model,” Demie told Elle.
