The White Lotus is one of the most beloved TV shows returning to our small screens this winter, and its next chapter is taking us to Thailand. If you’re wondering what the highly-anticipated third season has in store, we’re here with all the details you’ll need to check back into everyone’s favorite luxury hotel.

Plot

Like the previous two seasons of The White Lotus, its next installment will chronicle the exploits of guests and employees of the titular luxury resort. It will take us to Thailand this time around, and its creator Mike White previously described it as “a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality.”

Cast & Characters

Season 3 will mark the return of Natasha Rothwell as Belinda, the spa manager from Season 1, in addition to introducing us to many new characters. She’ll be joined by Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Michelle Monaghan, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Aimee Lou Wood, Nicholas Duvernay, Sam Nivola, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Blackpink’s Lisa.

It’s previously been reported that Season 3 would star a multigenerational gang, including a patriarch, a female corporate executive, an actress, and a couple of mothers – a country club wife, a misfit, and a yogi. The first teaser introduced us to some of these characters, including three long-time friends on a girls’ trip, a wealthy businessman vacationing with his wife and children, and a free-spirited woman traveling with her on-edge older boyfriend.

Release Date & Episodes

The White Lotus will return to HBO on February 16, 2025. It will feature eight brand-new episodes, debuting weekly until the season finale on April 6, 2025.
