We’ve had a home day due to a poorly big boy so – here are a few of my favourite things today 🌿 Nettle tea by the bucket load, I can’t stop drinking it at the mo. The dried stuff works better imo. Brew the fresh stuff and you get a fishy smell but it’s great chucked in soup 🌿 The way these colours are coming together. My theory is if I begin a scarf now it may just be finished for next Winter! 🌿 This book (Over the Hills and Far Away by Daniela Dreschler). We snuggled up for hours this morning reading lovely magical fairytales full of small folk, kings and heroic girls and boys. So lovely and complete mum bliss 🌿 And, this henna. Sigh. I love this art form so much. This was from our school Easter market yesterday when I happily met up with the wonderful mama who is our henna artist at #motherwildretreat this year. I may have to avoid washing up for a few days 😆 What are your favourite things today? . For full disclosure on the day… things that are not my favourite: rescuing an ailing baby bunny on our dog walk and having the poor thing die despite our best efforts. I’m not good with dead stuff! Thank goodness for neighbours who come and help bury it in the lane with you. Now to break it to the boys 🙈 . . . . . #myfavouritethings #onmytable #herbaltea #nettletea #florisbooks #knittersofinstagram #slowknitting #inspiredbynature #myalmanacmoment #aseasonalyear #livemoremagic #gowildlyandslow #slowandglow #wildandfree #mywild #slowlivingforlife #slowmotherhood #nurturethemothers #cupinframe #teaandseasons
