Healthy, homemade energy bars are always the best option to get that extra boost at any time of the day. If you are obsessed with easy recipes you have to try this one. It will only take you 10 minutes, and the bars stay in the fridge for days in advance.
These energy bars are made of mostly nuts, so you’ll have to get plenty of those. You will need 1 tablespoon of raw honey, 2 oz raw almonds, 2 oz raw pecans, 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons nut butter and a dash of unrefined sea salt. It will be even better if the almonds and pecans are soaked and dehydrated. Make sure to melt the honey just a little bit.
Start the energy bars by mixing the nut butter of your choice with the melted honey. Let the mixture cool a little bit. Get another bowl and mix the remaining ingredients. Put the two mixtures together and place the final version on a dish. Give it a nice shape and add a little bit of salt on top. Let the bars sit in the fridge for an hour or more. You can then slice them and enjoy! Store them in the fridge.
