The Academy Awards nominations were finally unveiled last week, and we finally know who’ll be in the running for the coveted best picture Oscar. From Emilia Pérez to The Brutalist, here’s where you can watch all the contenders for the most prestigious award in Hollywood.
Theaters
Some of the best picture contenders aren’t available on streaming, and you can only see them in theaters. That’s the case with the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, the period drama The Brutalist, the historical drama Nickel Boys, and the Portuguese political drama I’m Still Here, which can only be seen on the big screen.
Streaming Services
The crime musical Emilia Pérez will enter the Oscars with 13 nominations, and you can stream it on Netflix. You can also watch the space epic Dune: Part Two on Netflix and Hulu. The Papal thriller Conclave can be streamed on Peacock, while the body horror The Substance is available on Mubi.
Rent or Buy
Several best picture contenders can be purchased or rented on Apple TV and Prime Video, despite not being available for streaming just yet. That’s the case with the hit musical Wicked and the indie dramedy Anora. Dune: Part Two, The Substance, and Conclave are also available in the digital format, in addition to getting a streaming release.
