Online shopping is both a miracle and a curse. If you ever need something, it’s just a click away. But, at the same time, you might not be needing all that you’re buying. Online shopping can be dangerous because you can really start spending a lot of money and accumulating a lot of stuff, so if you want to avoid this problem, follow these tips!

Credit Cards

The worst thing you can do for yourself if you’re trying to shop less is to save your credit card information to your favorite sites. If you do this, you’ll be able to instantly buy whatever you want without even having to think about it. Instead, make sure that you don’t save it so you have to physically get your card every time you make a purchase which makes you more responsible.

Mailing Lists

While mailing lists can seem to be good because they give you discounts, it also temps you in more ways to buy. When you know when the sales are, you might be inclined to shop, especially when it’s a limited-time deal. The reality is this is just a marketing ploy to get you to buy more stuff you don’t, so unsubscribe yourself from those mailing lists.
