Katy Perry just got a dramatic new hairdo and it is quite possibly our favorite transformation of the year.
Earlier this year we raved about Cate Blanchett’s new brunette do and more recently we were shocked by Miley Cryus’ new Hannah Montana locks. We’ve also been taken aback by Hailey Beiber’s neon yellow chop and Taylor Swift switched her platinum do for something a little more natural.
Now though, there is a new hair queen in town and we were not ready for the dramatic restyle.
When Katy Perry first entered the pop world, she rocked long, dark locks. The rockabilly hairdo quickly became an iconic part of her look and became intertwined with public persona.
Later on in the star’s career, Katy admitted that she struggled with being her public persona all the time and consequently decided to chop off her. Since then, she has been rocking a pretty stunning pixie cut.
Now though, the pop star has switched up her pixie cut for long locks again only this time, she has stuck with the blonde. She looks totally unrecognizable but undeniably gorgeous.
