Make Delicious and Healthy Cinnamon Toast Crunch Chickpeas

Some mornings, you just can’t do anything about craving delicious sugary cereal. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a guilty pleasure of many, but today we will show how you can replicate the taste with something much more nutritious and healthy – chickpeas.

The preparation is fairly easy and you don’t need any special tools or equipment. You’ll only need a can of chickpeas, a tablespoon of olive oil, another tablespoon of honey, and some cinnamon to sprinkle over.

First, drain and rinse the chickpeas. Dry them on a paper towel and turn on the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then spread the chickpeas in a single layer. Bake for around 45 minutes, until they are crispy. Remove from the oven and, while still warm, pour into a bowl and mix with olive oil, honey, and cinnamon. Spread on the baking sheet again and return to the oven for another 10 minutes until they are caramelized.
