Christmas is coming and with the festive season at its peak, you have probably signed up for a bunch of Christmas do’s. From office parties to family dinners and drinks with friends, there are plenty of reasons to pull out the special perfume and get spritzing.

Unfortunately, the special perfume or even your signature scent is likely expensive and getting the bottle to last can be a challenge. If you’d rather make your current bottle last longer than use your Christmas savings to buy a new bottle, then take note. Here are our top tips for making perfume last.

Spray straight away

The best time to spray is the moment you step out of the shower. Your skin will be rich in moisture which gives the perfume something to cling onto. This means it will last longer.

Moisturize

If you have a non-scented moisturizer, you can also apply this as a base. When you apply your foundation, you use a primer and the same rule goes for perfume. It needs something to cling onto or it fades.

Spritz in the right spots

If you want your fragrance to last, there are certain spots which radiate heat and consequently scent throughout the day. These spots include the neck, inside of your elbows, wrists and the back of your knees. Spray here to get the most out of your bottle.

Happy spritzing!
