Meghan Markle has announced that she will be bringing out her own charity clothing line.

The Duchess of Sussex has shared that she will be launching a capsule collection with British brand Marks & Spencers. The collection will offer fashionable workwear and she will be receiving help from her fashion designer friends, Misha Nonoo, John Lewis and Jigsaw.

The collection will aid Smart Works, a charity that supports unemployed women who are struggling to enter the workforce.

Writing in Vogue, Markle said: “When you walk into a Smart Works space you’re met with racks of clothing and an array of bags and shoes. Sometimes, however, it can be a potpourri of mismatched sizes and colors, not always the right stylistic choices or range of sizes.

“Taking the idea further, many of the brands agreed to use the one-for-one model: for each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to the charity. Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, but it also reminds us we are in it together.”

The fashion line will be released later this year.
