Mixed Print is the New Double Denim

’90s throwbacks almost always involve Friends nostalgia and double denim. This summer, however, double denim is out and mixed prints are in. If the prints are merged into one fashion item, well that’s even better. Here are some of the pieces we’ve been inspired by, in case you think we’ve finally lost the plot.

Topshop

Trust Topshop to merge three prints into one midi-maxi dress and pair it up with a pair of little black booties. It’s a fashion disaster on paper, but a bohemian dream on the model.

H&M

H&M went bold and paired up different polka dot patterns from different color palettes. The sunglasses tie the whole look together.

Warehouse

Florals mixed with animal prints? It’s fashion anarchy. And we’re obsessed.

Warehouse

For those who can’t pick between a daytime floral and a nighttime floral, why not just merge the two together in one illogical yet gorgeous dress?

Rixo

Mixed print has been all over Rixo’s Instagram feed this month. We don’t even know where to begin, so here’s two we’ve been gawking at.
