Productivity Rules for Working from Home

Whether you always work from home or you just need to use your day off in the best way, being productive is a struggle many people deal with. You may want to work on some work-related tasks or organize your home or get active… whatever it is, here are some tips for being productive at home.

Morning Routine

Getting up early and a good breakfast will set your day on the right track. Sleeping in may feel good in the moment but it will leave you feeling like you’ve wasted your day.

Stop the Distractions

There will always be distractions, especially if you don’t live alone, but what you can do is to stop the most obvious ones, like the TV in the background and notifications on your phone. 

Take Breaks

For the best results, take short breaks often enough that you don’t burn out. Try the Pomodoro technique, which makes you work for 25-minute batches with short breaks in between.
