The 2000s have been the latest decade to come back into style with cargo pants, low-rise jeans (*why*), trenchcoats, and most recently logomania. If you haven’t already heard about this trend, expect to be seeing it everywhere this season.
The most fashion-forward celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Miley Cyrus, Kylie Jenner, and Cardi B have been seen in outfits all over Instagram with this trend. But nobody knows how to make a trend OTT like Rihanna, who’s never afraid to make a statement.
This past weekend the singer wore a head-to-toe Christian Dior look, that we only wish we could afford. The brand’s signature D logo was adorned all over her dress, her anorak, her bucket hat, and her two bags. Did we mention that’s another huge trend we’ll be seeing this season is celebrities wearing two bags?
Rihanna happens to be the first black woman ambassador of Dior, which explains her commitment to the brand. We’ve seen Rihanna rock logomania prints before, but this look was truly a statement worth mentioning.
What do you think of this new trend? Should it go back to the 2000s where it belongs?
