Selena Gomez worked with dozens of major fashion brands, but her latest collaboration saw her teaming up with newly-established swimwear company Krahs.
The young singer designed several adorable pieces, and one of them happens to have a very special meaning.
Krahs was established by Gomez’s close friend Theresa Marie Mingus, who also used to be her personal assistant. She accepted her invitation to work with this brand, and ended up designing three pieces for the new collection.
The first limited-edition item designed by Selena Gomez is a red one-piece swimsuit with an open back. The second is a bikini that comes in both red and black, and consists of a classic top with water-resistant clasp and belted high-waisted bottom.
This fashion item has a very special meaning for young singer, since she designed it with her kidney transplant scar in mind. While discussing her collection in an Instagram post, Gomez revealed the motivation behind this decision and said that bathing suits that cancel her scar make her feel more comfortable.
