Throughout the year, but especially in the summer, it’s crucial to be drinking enough water. Even if you’re not doing much, the fact that it’s so hot will make you sweat and lose water. If you’re in need for a hydration boost, follow these tips!
Watermelon
No surprise that watermelon is actually 92% water! In one cup of watermelon, you’ll be getting 1/2 cup of water fortified with all sorts of nutrients, which is not only good for your body, but keeps it well hydrated.
Cantaloupe
Another melon, cantaloupe has actually a little more than half a cups worth of water in just a 1 cup serving. The most amazing thing about cantaloupe is that it is loaded in vitamin A, with 120% of your daily intake in 1 cup alone.
Peaches
Nothing says summer like peaches, especially if you live in the south. Peaches are almost 90% water, and if you’ve ever bit into a truly ripe peach, you won’t be surprised. Just make sure that you keep the skin on because it has a ton of antioxidants, and try to keep the juices inside your mouth and not rolling down your chin!
Tomatoes
This summer vegetable, technically a fruit, is also loaded with water. Add just one medium tomato to a salad and you’ve already drank half a cup of water!
