It’s pretty much impossible to name a celebrity who delivered more epic looks over the course of the last few months than Gemma Chan. She’s continuing her red carpet domination with “Captain Marvel” press tour but won us over long before this movie came out.
British audience was familiar with Chan for a while since she played on of the lead roles in critically acclaimed sci-fi show “Humans”. It took a couple of years for Hollywood to finally take notice, but that finally happened when she scored the role of Astrid in rom-com “Crazy Rich Asians”.
Chan turned heads during each promotional event after this smash hit came out, and not only because her fashion choices were flawless. She used her time in the spotlight to promote designers with Asian heritages and showcased their talent to the whole world.
“I wanted my wardrobe on the tour to reflect the values of the film. I really wanted to use this opportunity to shine a light on Asian creativity, minority creativity, and take the opportunity to be a little bit educational,” explained the actress.
