1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 cup milk
1 finely chopped onion
4 eggs
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 partially baked pie shell with a size 10 to 11 inches
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups grated old cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh dill, nutmeg, and cayenne.
Before you start making the asparagus quiche you need to set the oven to 375 F degrees. Get the pie shell and add the mustard all over.
Add the butter to a pan, melt it, then include the onion. It should become soft.
Once it does, mix it with the cheese, dill, and asparagus.
Add this mixture to the pie shell. You can now grab a bowl and beat the eggs in it. Combine them with the nutmeg, pepper, cayenne, milk, salt. Add this on top of the asparagus filling.
Leave the pie in the oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Let it stay for 10 minutes before you serve it. Feel free to add sour cream or any other side that you like.
