Now, John Lewis have introduced a solution to the problem. With the new app, you can try on makeup from the likes of MAC, Charlotte Tilbury and Lacombe. In fact, there are more than 300 brands as part of the app.

“As we look at new ways of weaving innovative technology into the services and experiences we offer our customers, I’m really excited by the possibilities of working with AR,” Sienne Veit, Digital Director for John Lewis & Partners explained. “Beauty is the perfect space for us to experiment with this technology and we hope our customers have lots of fun using it.” 

It really does sound like a lot of fun and we can’t wait to taste out new makeup from the comfort of our home.
