You still get that sun kissed effect on your hair, but less of the damage. Once you get balayage the effect can last up to 8 months, the regrowth lines are much softer. Traditional highlights can give you that stripy look where balayage is a lot softer and can look very natural.

Here are some ideas to get you started.

Caramel Balayage

Warm up your dark hair with some hints of caramel. If you have natural dark hair, but want to add some color, without a lot of re-growth then aim for this caramel balayage look.

Blond Balayage

Adding some balayage to your naturally blond hair will give it the lift it needs. Winter blond can sometimes look a little dull and washed out so this can give your style the boost it needs.

Looking back on 2019, I am still in disbelief at some of the blessings that have come my way. I am so thankful and grateful for so many things, and for all of you who follow my page/work/journey. ⁣ ⁣ I never want to be someone who is too busy waiting for the next thing, that they never stop and realize that they are literally in the middle of what they once prayed for. ⁣ ⁣ So before the new year comes and thoughts shift to new goals….I want to be in the moment and focus on the blessings that I know have come my way this year ❤⁣ ⁣ Day 1: I am beyond thankful that I have a full clientele. I remember just a few years ago the anxiety and panic that I would get knowing that I had to post on Facebook every single week that I had openings for appointments. I’d do specials, heavy discounts, ads…post in local groups, I would take ANYTHING to build and support my family. I prayed for stability, consistency, and clients who I could count on, and I recognize that God has answered that prayer for me. I now have a full clientele of wonderful humans, doing what I love most, and I couldn’t be more grateful.⁣ ⁣ Will you join me?! Tell me something that YOU are grateful for ❤👇🏻

Curly Balayage

Your curls can also use some color to add some depth to your natural style. Keep the roots dark and add some lighter, natural color to the middle and ends.

Short Hair Balayage

If you have shorter hair you don’t have to miss out on this trend. It looks good on every hair length and it will add some color to your hair this winter.

Chestnut Balayage

Give your winter dark dull hair some chestnut balayage. The subtle color change from dark brown to chestnut at the ends really makes a difference to your style.

Those lines of demarcation? Gone! Her hair looks so much healthier, and the cut complements the color perfectly.

Bye Bye Brass!

These stylists cleaned up very messy dye jobs. We don’t think the left photos were the original color, but lack of UV protection and some heavy sun left its mark.

Total Re-Do

We really don’t know HOW the left picture happened, but the transformation sure is stunning. How many hours did this one take?
