]]> Bretman “Da Baddest” Rock was named Beauty Influencer of 2019 at the People’s Choice Award this week. The other nominees were James Charles, Nikita Dragun, Nikkie Tutorials, Jeffree Star, RCL Beauty, Desi Perkins, and Jackie Aina.

Bretman Rock has over 13 million Instagram followers, which will definitely increase after receiving the award. He loves cosplay, turtles, fitness, and of course makeup.

Bretman is 21-years-old and he’s a Nike LA ambassador, been on the cover of Gay Times‘ Pride Month Issue in June, and he attended his first New York Fashion Week this year.

Like many of us, he’s a Britney fan. In an interview with Cosmopolitan this past October he was asked which celebrity he would like to do a beauty tutorial with and his response was, “I feel like it’d be so fun to, like, do, like, Britney Spears’ makeup. I’ve always been a big fan of Miss Britney—I’m a Britney stan. My email is actually inspired by her. I just kinda want to tell her that she’s really my childhood hero and she’s so f***ing funny to me.”

Some influencers do social media as a full-time job, editing and compiling video clips while taking pictures all day. It’s a full-time job that requires patience and a strong backbone.

Jam is the ideal mom who’s slaying it while keeping her hair in check. Her eyelashes are always on fleek while she’s thrift shopping or taking care of her baby, her dog Disco and her hubby. She’s a feisty Filipina with a love for curating fashion content and living her life to the fullest.

I’ve been extra quiet recently bc I was job huntin’ to find a full time gig again. A lot of people dream of having their own time to work on their passion project and while I loved every bit of it, it was isolating. Move to the suburbs and add a child to the mix plus postpartum depression and I became a hermit. I’m excited to say I’m working in the city again for a forward thinking and v fun startup. I can also say that if I feel like there’s an extra pep In my step towards my own independence then I’m gonna be a better Mama. Plain and simple. I started last week and this past weekend I was soaking every sloppy open mouthed kiss, sweet baby smell and holding onto every bit of affection from him. Hellajam ain’t goin’ nowhere and if anything, having little time to create will only push me to put out even better quality/well thought out work. But in the meantime, if my videos are shorter than normal or if I miss one here or there… huge life changes are happening for the better and i can’t wait to let you in on all the fun🤩
