If you have very sensitive skin and you want to avoid store-bought beauty products, we have just the right solution. This DIY natural deodorant is perfect for your complexion and will be done in 10 minutes.
To make your own natural deodorant you need to get 2 tablespoons coconut oil, 2 teaspoons beeswax, 2 tablespoons shea butter, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 50 drops frankincense essential oil and 4 teaspoons potato starch. All of these ingredients are very gentle to the skin and won’t cause irritation.
Get a measuring cup and fill it with the shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil. Place that measuring cup in a pot that is only slightly filled with water.
Set the heat on medium and wait for the beeswax to melt.
When this happens, you can take away the pot from the heat. This is the moment when you should add the starch and baking soda.
Mix the deodorant very well, then add the frankincense oil. You will need two 2 oz bottles to store the natural deodorant in. It won’t have a completely liquid consistency, so you should apply it with fingers.
You can use it up to one year, just make sure to save it in a dark spot away from the heat.
