]]> Some would argue that the best thing about fashion is getting to experiment and find pieces that nobody else wears, then incorporating them into your personal style. For others, fashion is about being able to look good day after day without thinking too much about it, and getting a few key pieces that will achieve the best effect without any real effort.

If you’re in the second group, you’re probably into classic fashion that’s immune to the latest trends. But despite how it sounds, classic fashion doesn’t have to be boring. It includes colors and patterns that you can mix and match, but your chances of getting something wrong are down to a minimum.

Dots are a great example and Zara has a perfect dress for this spring that’s already a hit on Instagram. The dress is long and flowy, with round collar and 3/4 sleeves. It’s white with black dots and looks great with many different accessories.

You know when you’re 19 and someone ‘old’ (45) says something ridiculous about music (like when my mum was trying to describe Daft Punk to me and called them ‘Funky Plastic’) and you’re like never will I ever become someone THAT boring and ancient where I won’t be able to keep abreast of important music matters, the tracks pushing through the roots before it hits the ears of naff Oceanas 6 months down the line, remixes, DJs. Well fast forward to now and I legit have no clue what The Global Awards are but apparently everyone and their next door neighbour’s there so, fantastic. I hope Funky Plastic are playing a blinding set. And FYI I still hit up Spotify every darn day for new beats so I’m not a lost cause yet (yet).
