Cowan believes it’s the most organic thing in the world since their brands stand for the same thing. He always felt that Powerpuff Girls perfectly embody all the best qualities, and decided to give them a special shout-out with this collection.
“Growing up, there were so many shows that showed women as damsels in distress and I never liked that… Powerpuff Girls, they don’t need saving. They’re doing their thing, and so I wanted strong powerful women in the show,” explained Cowan.
Needless to say, signature shades of blue, pink, and green dominated the runway at the City Market Social House in Los Angeles. Carly Rae Jepsen and Heidi Klum admired Cowan’s work of art from the front row, while Paris Hilton agreed to close the show in eye-catching pink-and-black tulle dress.
