Nostalgia dressing was a huge part of Robbie’s promo tour for Barbie. Her stylist Andrew Mukamal worked closely with several major designers to carefully curate the looks that perfectly recreated iconic Barbie outfits from previous eras.
We’ve seen Robbie wear several corset dresses while promoting Barbie, ranging from her ’90s-inspired “Earning Magic” look in Mexico to the glamorous “Enchanted Evening” dress by Vivienne Westwood in London.
Robbie also embraced Old Hollywood glamour by wearing dramatic opera gloves at the Barbie world premiere in Los Angeles before embracing this trend again in London.
Robbie took a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s book when picking shoes for the Barbie press tour. We’ve seen her wear dresses by many different designers, but when it came to shoes, she mostly stayed loyal to the iconic high-end brand Manolo Blahnik.
