Cut It

As your hair grows longer, the ends will become will dry and split off and end up as split ends. While this isn’t unhealthy for your overall body, it’s not great for your hair because it makes it thinner and frizzier, which is not what you want. This is why you should cut or trim at least 2-3 times a year, or more if you can afford it!

Wash It Less

A lot of people wash their hair much more than you need to. While different types of hair need different things, you really should not wash your hair more than twice a week. If you do it too much, it will dry it out and also affect your scalp health. Also, the longer you go without shampooing, the easier it will be to not wash your hair for longer periods of time while still having it look good.

Shampoo

While you should shampoo your hair less than you currently do, you should also use less shampoo than you think you need. Since you’re really just supposed to shampoo your scalp not your entire head, you really only need a quarter-size amount of shampoo or less!
