Last month, Givenchy teased their newest spokesperson with a not-so-subtle silhouette of a woman with a high ponytail. Anyone can wear a ponytail but Ariana Grande may as well own the copyright to the high pony. Now, Grande has been confirmed as the spokesperson and collaborator and the first photos of the new campaign have been revealed.
The new photos on Instagram #ARIVENCHY tease the Fall-Winter 2019-20 collection. The images envoke the history of Givenchy and embody its signature spirit which the brand describes as “an elegant attitude informed by beauty, individuality and a sense of empowerment.
The photos of Ariana are modeled in the style of the house’s founder, Hubert de Givenchy’s favored portraiture.
The first look showcased is one of Grande wearing a bright green tailored outfit paired with a crocodile purse.
An image of Grande wearing a pleated floral dress was also shared with the date 8/15.
The collection will land next month.
