Costa Rica is one of the highest-ranking countries for retirement for 2019. You can really choose from numerous activities like hiking, kayaking, sailing and also have quality healthcare at the same time.

Panama

Laying on the beach all day long with a cocktail in your hand doesn’t sound bad at all. This is a very affordable country, which makes it perfect for retirement. Think of pristine turquoise waters, sandy beaches, nice locals, and mind-blowing food.

Mexico

Retiring to Mexico sounds like a life-long vacation. It is very close to the USA, so that’s a huge plus. Also, this is a fairly affordable place. The only thing you need to be aware of is that not all cities are equally safe.

🇬🇧 Day: 228 Country: Ecuador Location: Quito | Of course, during our visit to Quito the obgliatory photo of the Basílica del Voto Nacional could not be missed. The view over Quito is really gigantic. For the construction of the Basílica even a salt tax was introduced in Ecuador so that the state can afford this monument. The stairs in the tower of the Basílica are not for people who are not completely free from giddiness. We arrived in Riobamaba yesterday and will do a tour on the Chimborazo in the next few days. The highest mountain of Ecuador at 6267 meters and the closest point on earth to the sun. #quito #quitoecuador #weltreisen #ecuador🇪🇨 #quitocity #quitoturismo #ecuadorturistico #citytravel #citytour #basilicadelvotonacional #travelcouple #travelgram #travel #reise #wanderlust #ecuadortravel_ig #church #reiseblogger #reisefieber #reiselust #reisenmachtglücklich #reiseziele #südamerika
