We all know that terrible feeling when you have a deadline approaching, but you don’t feel like doing anything at all. Procrastination can cause a lot of stress and anxiety in the long run, so try to overcome this problem with three helpful tips.

Break work into little steps

One of the reasons why we tend to delay the work we have to do is because we subconsciously find it hard and overwhelming. Breaking it down into little tasks can help with this! Try to focus on one part at the time and the work will seem much simpler than before.

Get rid of the distractions

If you’re constantly checking your email or social media, make sure to disable all notifications or even to stay away from your phone while working. Try to get rid of all the distractions that are making you procrastinate even more.

Change the environment

Work environment affects your productivity more than you could possibly imagine. Maybe you’re having a hard time focusing on your work because your workplace is not comfortable or inspiring enough.

Either change the room or redecorate the one you already have in order to be more productive in the future.
