Tips for When You’re In-Between Foundation Shades

Choosing the foundation shade is one of the most difficult makeup-related task women face. Since each of us is unique, it often happens that a brand doesn’t carry your specific shade, but you fall between two shades. What to do in those cases?

Mix and Match

It doesn’t get easier than this: mix two shades until you get the perfect one for your skin. You don’t need any special tools to do this: you can squeeze a little bit of both foundation on the back of your hand and do it right there.

Don’t Forget the Neck

It’s always important to blend the foundation all the way to your neck, especially if the shade isn’t exactly perfect for you.

Setting Powder

You can use setting powder that’s a little lighter or darker than your foundation to adjust its color when needed.

Turtleneck

While it’s cold outside, you can get away with wearing a turtleneck and no one will notice that your foundation doesn’t match your skin.
