Step 1: Remove any remaining nail polish from your nail.
Step 2. File the nail carefully, but try to avoid the split itself or file it minimally.
Step 3: Take a tea bag and cut it so it covers the break in your nail.
Step 4: Take a clear polish and paint a thick layer over the broken nail.
Step 5: Carefully place the tea bag piece on the wet nail, using tweezers if necessary.
Step 6: Let dry, then add one or two more coats of clear polish.
Step 7: Camouflage the tea bag with the color of your choosing. Paint other nails to match.
