Fans of Frida Kahlo definitely have a lot to look forward to this year. A few weeks ago, Vans released a new collection of shoes inspired by the famous Mexican painter, and now, Ulta Beauty is dropping a special makeup collection in honor of Kahlo’s birthday.
“Frida Kahlo continues to be an iconic and inspirational figure and it is such an honor to have created a collection that captures her passion, free spirit and unapologetic approach to self-expression”, says Monica Arnaudo, Ulta’s senior vice president of merchandising, in a statement published in Allure.
“This collection proves that bold is beautiful and we hope it will empower our guests to express themselves with the same confidence that Frida embraced”, Arnaudo stated.
The collection features nine makeup products inspired by Frida Kahlo, including a 12-pan eye shadow palette, liquid lipsticks in four shades, liquid illuminator, brow master palette, primer, brush set, flower headband, and a cosmetic bag.
The best thing about Ulta Beauty’s new range is that it’s very affordable, with prices ranging between $10 and $30.
This charming Frida Kahlo beauty collection will be available in stores and online on July 22.
