You can’t go wrong with candy! Except if your girlfriend is on a hard-core diet. Mozart Balls a.k.a. Mozart-Kugeln is traditional Austrian chocolate wrapped up in a foil featuring the famous composer’s face. Made from marzipan on the inside and covered either with dark or milk chocolate on the outside.

Something Klimt-related

The Kiss is Gustav Klimt, an Austrian symbolist painter’s masterpiece and it can be found everywhere; on T-shirts, mugs, postcards, magnets etc. If your bestie loves puzzles, surprise her with a box featuring Klimt’s painting.

Snow Globe

Did you know that the enchanting snow globe was invented in Austria as well? A surgical instrument mechanic Mr Perzy I came up with the idea in 1900. There are a few Austrian monuments to choose as the setting inside your globe; The Stephansdom, Wiener Riesenrad, or the Vienna State Opera House.
