Temptation bundling is when you pair something you don’t like doing with something you like doing. For example, if you don’t want to study, drink your favorite soda while you do it, and only at that time. The important thing is to make sure you only do the thing you enjoy when you are doing the thing you don’t enjoy, so you can get into the routine of having something wonderful at the same time as something not so pleasant.

You can do this for so many areas of your life. Whether you decide to only listen to your favorite podcast while you’re at the gym, or have a glass of wine while you do the laundry, putting something that you love together with someone you don’t will eventually make the harder thing less hard, and more incorporated into your routine.
