Yummy Broccoli Recipe That You Will Love

Broccoli is listed as one of the least loved vegetables, especially amongst children, However, the truth is that this cruciferous green has many great health benefits; it is a great source of vitamin A, C, K and B9, it is full of folate, potassium and fiber.   • 1 broccoli head
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup white vine
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 50 gr smoked cheese
  • Salt and pepper


Fill a bigger pot with water, add a pinch of salt and leave it to boil. Then, broke the broccoli heads into smaller flowers, put them into the water and leave it to cook for 4-5 minutes. When the broccoli is ready, rinse it immediately with cold water to keep its vibrant green color.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the broccoli and let it fry for about 2 minutes. Sprinkle the thyme, the rosemary, the salt, and the pepper. Dine it for 1-2 minutes, add the chopped garlic, pour the vine and leave it until it evaporates. In the end, add the heavy cream and the cheese. Let it all cook for a couple of minutes and voila! Your broccoli is ready. You can serve it with freshly cooked pasta.
