5. Katy Perry: Part of Me, The Movie

This documentary only has a 5.9/10 rating on IMDb. It’s your average surface-y inside look to a star who went from singing in church to screaming about kissing a girl. We love Katy and any more information we can get, we’ll take it.

4. One Direction: This Is Us

Indeed it is. It’s less of a documentary on the impacts of stardom on their life, and more of an inside look of their worldwide tour. Also interesting, but we want more!

3. Amy

This documentary was created from archives and personal testimonials in order for the audience to understand Amy, her work, and her mind. It is artfully crafted and beautiful.

2. Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated

We’ve known Demi since her early debut on Barney and Friends, and then again on Disney Channel. We’ve followed her music from punk to pop to ballads, and now we see how it all came together…or fell apart.

1. Gaga: Five Foot Two

This is by far the most revealing documentary into Lady Gaga’s lifestyle, relationship, performance-pushing motivation, hectic schedule…and gives us a peek into her justified diva-ness.
