For many of us, we can’t imagine a day without coffee. And while you probably enjoy cold brews, espressos, dirty chai lattes, and cappuccinos, you may be missing out on the world of coffee cocktails. Instead of trading in coffee for wine once it hits five-o-clock, why not enjoy a coffee cocktail? Here are four of our favorites.

Espresso Martini

All you need is espresso, coffee liquor, and simple syrup for this cocktail. Before making the drink, wait for the espresso to cool down, so the ice won’t melt.

Coffee Old Fashioned

For a less-sweet twist on an Old Fashioned, add dark rum and Turkish coffee to the traditional ingredients of Bourbon or Rye whisky, Angostura bitters, and a sugar cube.

Irish Iced Coffee

While Irish coffee is usually served hot, it is just as good cold over ice. To make sure you drink isn’t watered down, freeze the coffee in ice cubes. Don’t forget to top the drink with whipped cream.

White Russian

A White Russian is a classic for a reason as it is the perfect amount of creamy and boozy. Customize the drink for the season by adding pumpkin spice, cinnamon, ginger, chocolate syrup, nutmeg, or peppermint sticks.
