Green is usually one of the interior design colors people tend to stay away from. Just like other vibrant hues, there is a high chance that you can make mistakes when decorating with it. Things become even more interesting when you think of a green bathroom. But, thanks to these fabulous examples you can incorporate your favorite tone in the least expected room in the home.

Mint

Pastel mint green is one of the biggest colors for 2019. This is a subdued hue that is much easier to incorporate in the bathroom. You can easily mix it with black, white, grey.

Emerald Green

Emerald is one of the richest, most luxurious tones of green that is also ideal for a darker bathroom. The best way to pull it off is if you add hints of gold to the final decor.

Tropical Vibes

Anyone could use hints of warm tropical settings, even if it is in their green bathroom. This is not a design that will work for everyone, but it’s definitely meant for maximalists.

Teal Green

When you can’t decide whether you want to opt for blue or green, we have the perfect in-between shade. Try it out and you won’t be sorry.

[gifted] The walls are adorned and the rug seems to have survived the washing machine. But what about this new lovely lady hanging out in my bathroom?! She’s from @juniqeartshop and the lovely people there have offered you lot a voucher code to get 20% off – full details below! The only drawback is the double towels needed – one for you and one for the bath.. thé finish means it has to be dried after each use – something we didn’t quite realise until after it was installed… wth- a bath that can’t stay wet?!? I’ve seen it all now – watch out for this one boys and girls it’s a right pain in the a. BUT – still beautiful 😍 . CODE: POTNOODLES<3 (the <3 is included). There is no doubt of the importance of keeping the Earth safe and clean for generations to come. No matter how little or much you do, if you want to try to live more eco-friendly on a larger scale, you might want to consider looking at these cities to live in or at least visit, as they are some of the greenest and cleanest in the world!

Oslo

The capital of Norway has one of the lowest carbon emission rates of all countries in Europe, making it an ideal place to live. The reason for this is because the public transit eliminates most of the need for cars, and even their public transit is moving to be greener by soon cutting out the use of all fossil fuels.

Abu Dhabi

Known for luxury and decadence, you might not think of this city as being a leading community in sustainability. However, the city has gone through some major means to ensure they use clean energy, such as solar power, having mainly electric cars, and using sustainability materials in buildings and hotels.

San Francisco

San Francisco was once the main hub of artists and revolutionaries, and that spirit remains in the municipality decision making. San Fran has an amazing curbside composting program which means they are making less food waste, and they are soon to have a totally emission-free transit system.

If you live in a rainy or cloudy place, it might seem like you can’t have the pleasure of being a plant parent. But, there are many different plants that you can have that don’t require any or very little sunlight.

Chinese Evergreen

This type of plant is perfect for people who have never cared for plants before because they are really easy to maintain. The best part is that the darker the leaves of the plant, the less sun they need! Even lighter ones or ones of different colors like pink or orange shouldn’t be placed in direct sunlight or the leaves will become damaged. It is also an air-filtering plant which means it will provide you with cleaner air!

Peace Lily

What makes this plant so desirable as an indoor plant is that although they do need low to medium light, they also live off of fluorescent lighting! Which means that your overhead light will do them great.

Snake Plant

This plant is perfect for people who forget to water their plants because they can rot easily, which means that you really have to let the soil dry out completely before watering it again. They also need indirect light, perfect for any corner of your house.
